Stephen Knowles

Stephen Knowles joined Burnett Christie in 2002 and became a Partner in 2003.

Stephen prides himself on his encyclopaedic knowledge of criminal law and criminal legislation which he keeps updated through his role for the last 20 years as a criminal tutor at Edinburgh University. Stephen has also been the external marker in Criminal Advocacy for the University of Glasgow.

Stephen has an enthusiastic approach to all cases and a careful and relaxed manner with clients. He has been involved in a number of high profile and complex cases involving extensive and thorough investigation.

Stephen is an experienced and respected negotiator.
